Multispectral preprocessing and detection for agricultural phenotyping (arXiv 2024)
Collaborating with Texas A&M AgriLife, I helped build an automated plant phenotyping system based on a Spatial Transformer Network YOLO model. I developed a multispectral preprocessing technique using band superimposition and min-max normalization that improved spatial resolution and signal-to-noise ratio for downstream object detection.
